Well that was my thought after all vegan breakfast is one thing but quinoa as well? However, I decided to give it a go and it was really nice. Yes you read that correctly! Granted there are things I try that really don’t suit my taste buds, so I don’t mention them, but this took me by surprise. You get the idea now don’t you, I didn’t think I would like it, but I did! The other nice thing is it’s simple to make, takes a while to cook but as I was doing other things (sorting out the family) it just sat there being ignored and did it’s cooking. The smell of nutmeg and cinnamon wafting through the house was rather nice and had the motley crew sniffing around asking what was for breakfast in a rather enthusiastic manner.
You’ll see my picture is a bit different to the one in the link, but then mine isn’t in a studio prepared for a photo. It was cooked, dumped in a bowl and ready to be eaten, no faff.
